Stock follows whatever the traders brought in, so this list stays short on purpose and stays honest about what is actually here.
Why the buildings stayed
These warehouses were nearly flats. They are workshops, kitchens and market stalls instead, because the tenants took on the lease together rather than waiting to be let one.
The quarter
What is under each roof
One brand, several businesses, every one of them a tenant. Here is where each of them is and what you can actually do there.
Eat & Drink
The coffee counter opens at seven for the traders and stays open all day. The restaurant on the floor above does one sitting an evening, Wednesday to Saturday.
The covered market
Independent traders under the canopy on the east quay — fish, cheese, bread, plants, secondhand books. Six days a week, whatever the weather is doing.
Maker studios
Ceramics, screen print and furniture, each with its own workshop. All three teach, so you can book a bench rather than only buy the result.
The grain store
The tallest room on the wharf, and the only one with its hoist still in the roof. Conferences, weddings and the winter market all end up here.
The clinic
Physiotherapy, podiatry and talking therapy in the old harbourmaster's office. By appointment, and never drop-in.
Studios and offices
Rooms let by the month to businesses that need a door that locks and an address that is not a flat. Most tenants here started in one.

The grain store opens for the winter market
Two floors, every trader on the wharf, and the makers selling the work they only make once a year. Doors at nine, and the coffee counter opens with them.
